I inherited thousands of slides my cousin David Beardmore, who sadly died in 2009, took of  transport mainly in the late 1970s to the early 1980s. 

Obviously, given their age, these were not in perfect condition. However, given the historic interest of some of them, I have attempted to restore 

them a little and to crop them in places etc. Hopefully they will be found of interest. I have added explanatory notes etc.
